Join Miss Hawaii 2011 Lauren Cheape and Big City Diner in raising money for Kapiolani Childrens Miracle Network Hospital.
Starting Tuesday, November 1, 2011 Miss Hawaii will be onsite at Big City Diner Locations throughout the Island of Oahu with her fellow beauty scholars to assist with the service of diners and seek their donations. However, anyone can purchase a Miracle Balloon in any denomination any time the restaurant is open or make a donation online by clicking here.
In January 2012, Lauren Cheape will represent the State as Miss Hawaii at the Miss America Pageant that will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. One category for placement is to see which contestant raises the most money for their local Childrens Miracle Network Hospital– here in Hawaii that is the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children (the only Children’s Hospital in Hawaii). One Hundred percent of the proceeds raised stays here in the Islands to care for Hawaii’s sick and injured children.
By supporting this drive you will help to save the lives of Hawaii’s sick and injured children and at the same time helping Miss Hawaii to earn credit while competing in the 2012 Miss America Pageant.
