2/28/2019…Kind of a quick shout-out to this morning’s crew for the awesome service they provided today. My wife and I just came from IHOP down the road and had a terrible experience there. We waited at IHOP for 15 mins without anyone servicing us at all. After that 15 mins we just got up and left. Hungry as hell we decided to go to this Big City. Complete opposite of what happened at IHOP. Our hostess made sure our seating was comfortable and the waitress was there right away to offer us our drinks. We definitely weren’t the only customers there, so I don’t know why IHOP couldn’t give us the same quality service? Again Mahalo, to this morning’s crew.

3/17/2019…Just had another perfect omelet at Big City Diner. Chef Ramsey must be in the kitchen. They also serve local Hawaiian coffee here. They garnish the plates here with a slice of pineapple, just in case you forgot you were in Hawaii.

4/16/2019…Ok. So this night I wanted a Black and Tan beer. For all you beer lovers, you know a good bartender when they can make a perfect Black and Tan! I have been into some really nice lounges and bars and it’s 50/50 to have a perfect split or a mixed drink. But here, perfect! TWICE! — ribs: ordered it with sauce on the side. Loved it! Great with the beer. Service: cheers to the manager, Kisa, servers Kristen and Dustin! Great service and always with ALOHA which I really really appreciate!

5/11/2019…Had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here on different days. Service was always excellent and fast, food was very good every time. They have live entertainment on certain evening’s, not to loud so you can still have a relaxing dinner and conversation without yelling at each other. I would certainly recommend this place.
